Zhenyi Technology wishes all our customers and partners a happy and healthy Minor Heat!
Zero instrument failures, precise data every time
As the old saying goes, “Minor Heat and Major Heat bring steam from above and simmering heat from below.” High temperatures combined with the humidity of the rainy season create a hot, muggy environment laden with moisture. This can make people feel the strain of summer—and can also cause precision analytical instruments such as mass spectrometers and liquid chromatographs in the laboratory to “overheat and shut down.”

Minor Heat Mass Spectrometer Maintenance Guide
Temperature & Humidity Control: Maintain a stable laboratory temperature of 23–28°C and relative humidity of 40%–60%. Keep the air conditioning running 24/7 and protect the instrument from direct sunlight.
Heat Dissipation & Dust Removal: Clean the mass spectrometer’s cooling filters weekly and leave sufficient ventilation space around the instrument.
Moisture & Condensation Prevention: Keep doors and windows closed during thunderstorms and maintain the mass spectrometer under vacuum to prevent moisture from entering and damaging the ion optics and electron multiplier.
Power Protection: Equip the mass spectrometer with a UPS for voltage stabilization to prevent summer voltage fluctuations from damaging high-voltage components.
Workflow Optimization: Prepare mobile phases fresh and use them promptly. During periods of high temperatures, minimize the time samples remain at room temperature to reduce analyte degradation.
