The 2026 Yangtze River Delta Seminar on University-Enterprise Collaborative Applications of Scientific Instruments was successfully held at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Centered on the theme “Testing and Evaluation Drive Innovation, Advancing Industry-Research Collaboration,” the event brought together experts from more than 100 university analytical testing centers, research institutions, and domestic scientific instrument companies across the Yangtze River Delta region.
The seminar provided an integrated platform for academia, industry, research, and application, focusing on three key challenges facing the industry: facilitating the adoption of domestic instruments on university campuses, accelerating the commercialization of research achievements, and fostering joint development of specialized talent.
Technology Showcase on One Stage
Domestic mass spectrometry solutions meet the full range of application needs across universities.
Zhenyi Technology has been dedicated to the R&D of domestically developed mass spectrometry technologies for many years. Starting from the real-world research needs of universities, the company has developed workflows tailored to diverse research and application scenarios, including life sciences, basic pharmaceutical research, materials development, and environmental monitoring. These solutions empower university laboratories to undertake and complete cutting-edge research projects.
At this seminar, Zhenyi Technology showcased its full range of independently developed mass spectrometry products and application solutions, engaging in in-depth discussions with university experts and industry peers to explore a new blueprint for the collaborative development of domestic mass spectrometry technologies.

Harnessing the Strength of the Yangtze River Delta to Address Key Challenges in the Scientific Instrument Industry
As a leading hub for analytical science, biomedicine, materials, and chemical research in China, the Yangtze River Delta is home to numerous key laboratories and world-class academic disciplines. However, the region has long faced practical challenges, including difficulties in translating cutting-edge university research into real-world applications, a lack of authentic research scenarios for validating scientific instruments developed by enterprises, and a significant shortage of professionals with hands-on expertise in mass spectrometry.

At the seminar, Zhenyi Technology actively engaged in discussions with forum representatives, jointly advocating for stronger collaboration between universities and enterprises to put into practice the important vision of “deeply integrating technological innovation with industrial innovation.” Anchored in the real needs and application scenarios of universities and driven by university–industry collaboration, the initiative seeks to explore replicable and scalable new models for achieving greater self-reliance and control in China’s scientific instrument industry, while extending proven solutions into strategic emerging fields such as new energy, semiconductors, materials, and environmental monitoring.
Moving Forward Together: Embarking on a New Journey of Independent Innovation in Domestic Mass Spectrometry
Zhenyi Technology focuses on the independent R&D of triple quadrupole mass spectrometers, which are widely used in university teaching and research, biopharmaceuticals, environmental testing, food safety, new materials characterization, and other fields.
